Interested in becoming a coach or volunteering with us?
Are you a previous or current gymnast? Have a background in gymnastics? We would love to hear from you! We are always looking to grow our staff, whether you’re only available for a couple hours a week or are open to helping out as much as possible.
We have a volunteer program for ages 11+ where you come and hang out with us, typically once per week for 1-2 hours at a time. If you have an interest in coaching in the future, but want to get your foot in the door and check it out first, this is the perfect way to do it!
Assistant Coach:
Must be 13 years of age or older. Our assistant coaches participate in our Pre-CIT training program which helps guide them in their journey of becoming a coach and takes them through various hands-on lessons on coaching. Assistant coaches assist our lead coaches throughout their classes, help with demonstrating, setting up circuits, and being leaders to the kids. This is the BEST way to get work experience and experience what its like to be a coach and decide if that’s something they want to pursue in the future!
Ready to take your coaching courses?
In order to become a coach, you must first be 15 years of age. Once you turn 15, you are eligible to be able to attend coach education courses. These are typically 1-2 day courses with certified learning facilitators who have so much valuable knowledge to share. Once you complete the required courses and have turned 16 years of age, you are able to submit your work, get certified and begin coaching alongside an adult 18+.
